WinHex v19.8 Professional Licensed -- (i haven't tested thoroughly actual functionality)(x64/x86)Site: Sharecode: /files/9633460/_Ponsonnet.rar.htmlcredit: Ponsonnet (full source details - in the archive)*I only deleted the supplied WinHex.cfg; will be created upon launch, clear (i used the portable-64bit)I don't know of a 'Specialist' license for v19.8, inducing a truly unlocked state, shared anywhere yet...or artificially created, right.??
yes. what I checked (x64, generic portable, admin), with some operations exclusive to the 'specialist' license, - worked. Also, no hangs or crashes or suspicious error messages. It's hardly a comprehensive test, obviously, since I am not on an actual, multi-step case. And, separately, examining and evaluating thoroughly the functionality of this program is a daunting task. However, perhaps I should mention it as well: it might be interesting to you if I would add two more points I've paid attention to.This chap, Kerlingen, said about his release (you may have read it): "All features unlocked. Please only use the included license, others won't work."The second thing: By chance, I noticed yesterday on ru-board (the WinHex thread) a message from painter7 (you may "know" him through his patches for various Adobe products, among other stuff; I use the amtemu.v0.9.2 to keep an Adobe Acrobat DC in a healthy state?). So his words there are:"WinHex 19.7 SR0 originating from the exetools [forum] is correctly cracked.""WinHex 19.8 Pro...is total sh." (well, he expressed it with a few more words, to explain why, but an "s"-word derivative is present -- and is the essence :)).
In ver. 19.8 specialist license (by ponsonnet) , he used a valid key to decrypt the encrypted code, and he went even further by patching the main exe file after the decryption of the functions in runtime. I tested this version, all features are unlocked and working perfectly.
Has anyone else notice that this is not a propper working specialist liccence? If selecting an option from the specialist menu, the program warns that this feature is only fully working with a specialist licence (see image bleow). In the last release (19.8) this opened fine without any messages about specialist license. has anybody tested to see if everything is working ? 2b1af7f3a8
