Narayan Nagbali Puja is a Vedic ritual which takes three days to complete.Narayan Bali or Neharan Bali is the Gegi puja. This is the first of the three days in the Narayan Nagbali Puja. The Gegi puja is a very ancient ritual which takes place first on the day of Aadi and ends on the day of Kartik. There are many stories of Gegi-Rishi doing this puja after performing other puja. These stories mostly end with a Dashavatara or a Tripura of a different planet. Gegi is Lord Vishnu’s Blue skinned brother. Only Deva Rishis can understand the concept of Gegi. Only Ashwachandhan Deva can understand his Gegi position. When swami Vivekananda was in a very critical and depressed situation, he went to a Rishi of Tripura in the mountains where he spent three days. This Swami is an absolute master of Vedic rituals.
