There are several ways to get here. The first is to speak to Li Wan on the way to Solo. She will tell you about a quest in Upper Lhasa, despite it not being listed on any of the maps. The area lies in the west of the city, toward the mountains. Climb the mountains and find the endless trail of mountains floating in a sea of fog. When you reach the end of the fog, you will find the left path, which will take you into Mingfeng Monastery.

Head left into the main temple and talk to the monk on the second floor, who is talking to some other monk. When the scene begins, both monks will place their palms together, giving you the Astrolabe.

The Astrolabe is handed to the monk upstairs. He will return after a moment and ask you to bring him the Mandala. The Mandala is then placed in the main middle room of the temple, where the monks will give you a Fire Troll potion. Head back up the stairs and grab the treasure from the floor.

Now head left and up the stairs again. Grab the treasure from the floor and head back to the ground floor. There are two paths here, one to the right leads to a gate, while the left leads to a locked door. Open the door and talk to the monk sitting at the desk. He admits to wanting to join the monastery to learn Ch'an, only if he is shown the Mandala. He tells you he will summon you when he changes his mind.

Return inside the main temple, and upstairs to the second floor. There are two rooms here, with doors to the west and east leading to the Mountain Road and a larger temple. Head left into the large temple. d2c66b5586
